Hi, I am Lara Ressin, a PhD Candidate in the Clinical Neuroimaging Laboratory at the University of Galway, School of Medicine. I obtained a Master of Science in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience from Middlesex University London, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Marburg University. I grew up on Rügen, Germany's biggest Island.
My doctoral research focuses on cognition and psychiatric disorders, especially bipolar disorder. I work with multimodal MRI data, including structural, diffusion, and resting-state functional imaging. Methodologically, I apply graph theoretical approaches to study brain network organisation, with a particular focus on structure–function coupling.
Feel free to reach out to collaborate!
